STEPPING OUT

Season ran 14th November - 5th December, 2009

Gold Coast Little Theatre Director Shane Caddaye presented the delightful gentle comedy, STEPPING OUT. The play centered around a group of women (and 1 man) of various ages and abilities attending a community tap-dancing class held by an ex-chorus dancer and accompanied by the dour Mrs Fraser on piano. During the course of the play, we learnt about the members of the class through their interaction with each other and the evening culminated in a tap dancing performance by the class members. It was set in an old church hall in the 1970's (all the old Scouts, Guides and yoga class attendees would recognise it immediately!) A successful season saw STEPPING OUT become the most highly attended play from the 2009 season - congratulations to everyone involved!
