Director Helen Maden brought us the heartwarming story of a Women's Institute chapter's fundraising effort for a local hospital that involves the revolutionary idea of posing nude for a calendar. The fact that the ladies involved are, well, not as young as they used to be, causes a media sensation that echoes around the globe! Funny, poignat and uplifting, this cheeky production was the perfect end to the GCLT 2012 season. This was the first community production of CALENDAR GIRLS in Queensland, and was a virtual sellout with 98% of all available seats sold!
