The Pegasus Youth Theatre is a new GCLT initiative in 2011
Headed by Anne Lotocki, a qualified Speech, Drama and Theatre teacher, the Pegasus Youth Theatre aims to provide training to young people between the ages of 8 and 18 in stagecraft and theatre.
Three classes will be held each Saturday morning, with ages 8 - 11, 12 - 14 and 15 - 18 grouped together in separate classes to allow age-appropriate training to be delivered. The focus will be on fun as well as learning, with the culmination of the year's activities being a performance night in the main theatre on December 10th.
Classes will be held in Molly's - the original GCLT theatre named after Molly Leggett who held Saturday morning classes for young Gold coasters there back in the 1970's.
